Frequently asked questions
One place for the practical questions around WhoisCheckr, account features, watchlists and exact domain lookups.
Basics
WhoisCheckr core questions
What does WhoisCheckr do?
WhoisCheckr focuses on exact domain checks. It helps you inspect availability, registry-backed RDAP results, DNS context, saved reports and named watchlists from one place.
Do I need an account to use the checker?
No. Public lookups work without an account. An account is only needed for saved domains, named watchlists, account history, reports and monitoring settings.
Does WhoisCheckr register or sell domains?
No. WhoisCheckr is currently a discovery, checking and watchlist product. It helps you evaluate domains and keep them organized, but it is not a registrar checkout flow.
Account & watchlists
Saved domains and account tools
What can I save in a watchlist?
Watchlists store exact domains only. You can group them into named lists, add notes, mark favorites and keep availability or DNS-related preferences on each domain.
Are alerts already fully live?
The account stores alert preferences and monitoring context already. Availability, DNS and monitoring behavior are being rolled out in phases, so some settings are preparation for later automation.
Can I remove my account data?
Yes. Account deletion is available from the settings area and removes your account-linked searches, saved domains, reports and notification preferences.
