Cookie statement

This page explains which cookies WhoisCheckr currently uses and why the current setup does not require a consent banner as long as only necessary cookies remain active.

Last updated: April 14, 2026

1. Current cookie position

WhoisCheckr currently uses only necessary cookies and similar technical storage for the public site and account area.

There are no analytics, advertising or social tracking cookies active on the public frontend at this time.

Because only necessary cookies are currently active, WhoisCheckr does not show a consent banner right now. If non-essential cookies are added later, a consent flow must be added before those cookies are placed.

2. Cookies used today

  • whoischeckr-session: a necessary session cookie used to keep the site working, maintain sign-in state and protect account workflows. The configured session lifetime is 120 minutes and the session driver is database.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: a necessary security cookie used to protect forms and authenticated actions against request forgery.
  • Remember sign-in cookie: only used if a user explicitly chooses "Keep me signed in" on the login form.

3. Changes to this setup

If WhoisCheckr later adds analytics tools, marketing pixels, A/B testing cookies or embedded third-party services that place non-essential cookies, this statement will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be introduced where the law requires it.

Questions about the current cookie setup can be sent to mail@aivionstudios.nl.
